Rough day. Weather was extremely variable. Wind from the NNW, swell from the N. Calm water in places, but I got into HUGE and closely spaced current-driven breaking waves (for Grenada). Way over my head, probably 4-5' in all.
Had an early bite-off, lost a blue/pink crystal minnow. Had an early hookup with a small barracuda. I released it shortly after realizing my camera battery was dead. Sigh. Put 4 nice long trolling runs on my grounds out to ~400-500' w/o any action. On the way home I landed a nice fat blackfin tuna. After lip-gripping de-hooking it, the little bastard flopped around, somehow broke the hold of the lip gripper, and fell into the water, never to be seen again. Sigh. On the way in this critter hit my crystal minnow. Got hookups today on black/purple, yellow, and blue/pink CM's.
